Deborah Z. Altschuler
Executive Director
National Pediculosis Association

Dear Ms. Altschuler:

The CSNO is very pleased to support September as Pediculosis Prevention Month. School nurses are perhaps the body of professionals with the most vested interest in the eradication of this public health problem. Our daily investigation, examination, and exclusion of infected children is both time consuming and, more importantly, an Interruption of the child's education. The organization supports and promulgates a nit free policy for schools.

We have taken your valuable printed information and done the following:

  1. Given a copy of the resolution to all California legislator for their information.

  2. Given our seven public relations chairpeople a copy of the press release with the necessary information added.

  3. Scheduled publishing a copy of the resolution in our September Newsletter that is mailed to all the school nurse in the state.

We appreciate the time and effort that has gone into your campaign and wish us all well in this endeavor.

Sincerely,
     Andreé Early-Wallis
     President
